OREANDA-NEWS. The Single Voting Day power engineers of IDGC of Centre provided uninterrupted and reliable power supply of almost eleven thousand polling stations in 11 regions of the company’s service area.

On this day there was no serious process failure recorded in the company’s electric grid equipment. To ensure reliable and uninterrupted power supply to the polling stations and consumers the company developed a list of organizational and technical measures.

From 10 September 2016 all branches of IDGC of Centre set up a special operating mode. On the Single Voting Day the around the clock duty of maintenance and first responding mobile crews, technical managers and specialists in the workplace was organized. 934 repair crews composed of 3,260 persons and 1,224 vehicles were on duty around the clock. A total of more than 20,000 employees of IDGC of Centre worked in a "special operation mode" of IDGC of Centre to ensure stable energy supply. Schedules of duty personnel of the company were made taking into account the possibility of personal voting at the polling stations for each of the specialists. It should be noted that most of the company’s power engineers actively supported the Single Voting Day and expressed their civil position.
