“From May 24, 2019, the second branch of the pipeline in the direction of the Russian LPDS“ Unecha ”began to transport contaminated oil accumulated in the reservoirs of the LPDS“ Mozyr ”after the first stage of its displacement. At 00:00 hours on May 27 more than 80 thousand were sent from the Belarusian territory tons of oil, "- said in a statement.

Transportation of pure oil in the direction of the Mozyr Oil Refinery and in the Ukrainian direction is carried out in a planned manner according to pumping schedules, the concern added. The refinery provides oil refining that meets the quality standard with a planned production load. "Strict quality control will be introduced at every stage of marketable products, as well as strict control of incoming oil feedstock", the concern noted.

At the same time, the Naftan refinery operates at a reduced load, refining the oil supplied through the Surgut-Polotsk pipeline and having standard quality indicators. Earlier, Russia and Belarus agreed on a mechanism for displacing dirty oil from the territory of the republic. The pumping will be carried out by reversing the same pipes of the Druzhba pipeline to the territory of the Russian Federation, tanks have been prepared for its storage, said Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak. According to him, the volume of reverse oil from Belarus will be about 1 million tons. In turn, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak explained that Russia will pump about 1 million tons of dirty oil from the territory of Belarus, and four times less from the territory of Poland.
