Brent Oil Price Exceeds $ 35

OREANDA-NEWS. The cost of futures for Brent crude oil for delivery in July 2020 on the London Stock Exchange ICE rose by 7.94% and reached $ 35.08 per barrel. This is evidenced by the data on the trading platform at 17:36 Moscow time.
The last time the price of oil of this grade was above the level of $ 35 per barrel on April 9 of this year. The price of WTI oil is growing at 9.55% to $ 32.34 per barrel. Futures for WTI American crude oil for June delivery is growing at 10.4%, to $ 32.5 per barrel.
The growth of oil quotes accelerated after reports that demand for raw materials in China, the second largest consumer of oil in the world after the United States, almost returned to the levels that were observed before the introduction of quarantine measures in the country.
