Federal Antimonopoly Service Proposes Gazprom to Sell at least 10% of Gas on the Exchange

OREANDA-NEWS The Federal Antimonopoly Service has decided to oblige PJSC Gazprom to sell at least 10% of its gas supplies to the domestic market. This is reported on the department's website.
The report indicated that for independent producers, which occupy a dominant position on the market, the volume of gas sold on the exchange must be at least 3%. At the same time in the future 10% will be set for everyone.
The press service of the agency added that gas consumers will have a number of preferences when buying gas on the exchange, in particular, to plan purchases for a long time with a clear mechanism of pricing. In addition, the order will help to prevent cases when gas prices are deliberately inflated.
Earlier, The New York Times wrote that Russia's revenues from the sale of oil and gas are only growing, despite multiple anti-Russian sanctions and the refusal of European states to buy fuel.
