OREANDA-NEWSGas supplies from Russia to China via the Power of Siberia gas pipeline resumed on March 31 after completion of planned preventive work. This was reported to reporters in the press service of Gazprom.

"Gas supplies to Chinese consumers have been resumed and are going as usual", the press service said. Prevention of equipment and systems of the Power of Siberia gas pipeline has been carried out since March 16. By agreement previously reached by Gazprom and the Chinese CNPC, scheduled maintenance of gas pipeline equipment and systems will be carried out twice a year: in spring and autumn.

Deliveries under the agreement concluded in 2014 between Gazprom and the Chinese CNPC will be carried out for 30 years. The annual volume of gas supplies is 38 billion cubic meters, the contract amount is $ 400 billion. In December 2019, Gazprom delivered 328 million cubic meters to China through the Power of Siberia gas pipeline meters of gas.
