OREANDA-NEWS. Gazprom appealed to the international arbitration at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation with a lawsuit to recover a debt of $ 246.409 million from Moldovagaz. This is stated in the quarterly report of the Russian company.

“In December 2019, Gazprom appealed to the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation with a lawsuit to recover a debt for natural gas delivered in 2017 in the amount of $ 246,409,976 from Moldovagaz JSC (Republic of Moldova), 74", the report said. The date of consideration of the claim is currently undefined.

It was also reported that Gazprom in 2019 reduced gas supplies to Turkey by 35% to 15.510 billion cubic meters against 23.964 billion cubic meters m a year earlier, follows from the report of the Russian gas holding company according to Russian accounting standards. In total, Gazprom’s exports to Western Europe decreased by 9% to 147.44 billion cubic meters.
