OREANDA-NEWSIn January - September 2019, Lukoil increased its hydrocarbon production in annual terms by 1.6% to 2.373 million barrels of oil equivalent per day. Oil production rose 0.7% in nine months to 64.2 million tons, the company said.

“For the nine months of 2019, the average daily hydrocarbon production by the Lukoil group excluding the West Qurna-2 project amounted to 2.373 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, which is 1.6% more compared to the nine months of 2018 “The increase in hydrocarbon production is mainly associated with the development of gas projects in Uzbekistan, as well as with an increase in oil production in Russia due to a change in the parameters of external restrictions on the production volumes of Russian companies", the statement said.

Oil production for nine months excluding the West Qurna-2 project amounted to 64.2 million tons, which is 0.7% more than a year earlier. In the third quarter, oil production in average terms exceeded the level of the second quarter of 2019 by 0.2% and reached 21.6 million tons. The volume of crude oil refining at the Lukoil refinery for nine months grew in annual terms by 2.8% and amounted to 51.7 million tons.
