OREANDA-NEWS. The Polish state-owned oil and gas company PGNiG reported that the Russian corporation Gazprom had issued invoices for gas under old conditions, that is to say, without taking into account the decision of the Stockholm arbitration.

In March, PGNiG won a dispute over the revision of supply prices. As a result, Gazprom must pay 1.5 billion US dollars to the Polish company.

PGNiG claimed that Gazprom issued invoices for fuel delivered in March and early April, bypassing the new price conditions. In addition, the Polish side did not receive an adjustment of invoices. PGNiG representatives believe that this position of Gazprom is “devoid of any legal basis”, since the decision of the Stockholm arbitration is final and mandatory.
