OREANDA-NEWS. The official visit of the President of Russia to Saudi Arabia is a historic event. He showed that cooperation between our countries is recovering rapidly and is now at an unprecedented level thanks to the efforts of President Vladimir Putin, King Salman bin Abdel Aziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Obviously, in recent years, our relations have undergone a profound transformation into a strategic partnership that allows us to maintain stability in the global energy markets thanks to the OPEC + agreement and develop mutually beneficial investment cooperation. An example of the restoration of relations with Saudi Arabia showed that with respect for Russia, it is possible to quickly establish a productive geopolitical dialogue that is useful for both countries. A visit to the United Arab Emirates was just as important.

The President’s trip emphasized all the achievements in relations between Russia and both countries in recent years and outlined new goals for the future, in particular in the area of cooperation in implementing national strategies, such as National Projects in Russia or the Vision 2030 program in Saudi Arabia.
