OREANDA-NEWSThe son of the writer Alexander Solzhenitsyn Stepan led the largest coal company in Russia - SUEK, controlled by businessman Andrei Melnichenko.

Its former CEO and co-owner (owns 7.8% of SUEK) Vladimir Rashevsky, who has held this position since 2004, will remain on the board of directors of the company and will continue to be responsible for the strategy. A source close to SUEK told the Russian media about this, and the press service of the company confirmed.

According to another source close to one of the Melnichkno companies, Rashevsky will deal with SUEK’s strategy, he retained his stake in the company. The top manager previously served on the coal company’s board of directors and was a member of the strategy committee.
