OREANDA-NEWS. September 21, 2016.  ROUSH Performance is pleased to announce that the entire lineup of 2017 ROUSH Mustangs is now shipping to authorized ROUSH dealerships.

The top-of-the-line ROUSH Mustang – the 2017 ROUSH Stage 3 Mustang – is a state-of-the art muscle car that combines world class handling with Detroit-born grunt. Under the hood, the ROUSHcharged 5.0L V8 power plant pumps out 670 horsepower courtesy of ROUSH Performance’s R2300 TVS supercharger – more horsepower per liter than any other American OE muscle car on the market. It goes without saying that the RS3 is a force to be reckoned with on and off the track, and a ten-second quarter-mile is a real possibility with a racing tire and an experienced driver behind the wheel.

The most recent additions to the ROUSH family of vehicles are being offered with several new standard and optional features including a newly-designed side graphic available on RS, Stage 1, and Stage 2 Mustangs.

Carrying over from the last model year, the RS package builds on Ford’s V6 Mustang, the Stage 1 Mustang is based on the 2.3L 310 horsepower EcoBoost Mustang, and the Stage 2 Mustang retains a naturally-aspirated 435 horsepower 5.0L Coyote V8.

ROUSH is offering several new ways to customize your own ROUSH Mustang, including the addition of a newly-designed side graphic for RS, RS1, and RS2 Mustangs, an available low-gloss black rear decklid spoiler, optional coil covers with a new red and black design (V8 models), optional ROUSH hood strut lift assist, and a ROUSH strut tower brace.*

The lineup’s streamlined exterior styling is functional to contribute to its performance, and includes a ROUSH front fascia with aero pockets, high-flow upper grille and lower opening to allow plenty of air through to the hungry intercooler and power plant, a front chin splitter, performance driving lamps, rear deck spoiler, and more.

You can hear the power pulsing through the innovative and optional ROUSH Active Performance exhaust system. This patented game-changing exhaust system gives the driver four selectable options. “Touring” mode has a subtle understated tone perfect for flying under the radar. “Sport” mode is an all-around dynamic mode that changes tone based on inputs from your vehicle. “Track” mode is wide open, tuned for maximum performance and sound. “Custom” mode allows the driver to custom program a sound map from their Apple device, and offers virtually endless sound possibilities.

Choose between a single adjustable coil over suspension that comes standard on Stage 2 and 3 Mustangs to take full advantage of the new Mustang’s independent rear suspension. For even more control over your ride, opt for the “TrakPak” three-way adjustable coil over suspension that has been custom-tuned by World Challenge professional driver Jack Roush Jr. to achieve a phenomenal 1.07g skid-pad performance.
