ABN AMRO appoints Global Head of ECT Clients Natural Resources
Maarten Terlouw, Global Head of ECT Clients, said: ‘We are excited about this development and are confident that, with his previous experience, financial and commercial knowledge and skills, Jeroen will contribute to a successful expansion of our business to natural resources’.
Westrik (42) started his working career with ABN AMRO in Amsterdam in structured finance. After which he moved to Houston to head up the Structured Financial Solutions team for Energy and Resources. In the last ten years, Westrik has been focusing on advising and financing clients in the natural resources sector.
The Natural Resources team, under the leadership of Westerik, will focus on global market leaders in metal and mineral reserve extraction, chemical product manufacturing and the production of construction materials such as cement, asphalt, glass and bricks.
ABN AMRO’s Energy, Commodities & Transportation Clients department provides standard and structured banking services to global clients in sectors such as commodity finance, shipping, agriculture, oil & gas, offshore oil services and natural resources.
