OREANDA-NEWS. August 11, 2016. The 1st International Conference on Sustainable Mobility, Industry and Innovation (MobLab16) is set for from October 12-13, 2016 in Bellinzona, Switzerland and this year’s theme is “From space travel to assisted human mobility: a journey of innovations and industry”.

In other words, we want to start the journey with you showing the possibilities that space travel will make true. The journey will then develop towards earth with suborbital flights, air travel and drones. We will then get to the ground and focus on sea travel, railways and public transportation. We will then continue with the personal transportation (cars, motorbike and scooters) and to the last mile with new alternative means of connecting people. At last we want to show you innovations in regards to the human assisted mobility (Biomechanics and Exoskeleton) and his interaction with technology. All this with a blink of an eye towards industry, innovation and the new technologies.

Attracting hundreds of attendees, partners and sponsors will find a wide range of participants including local and national politicians, representative from the Swiss mobility industry, manager & senior managers, senior technical specialists, researchers & students. With a series of informative and interacting plenary sessions the main objective of the conference is to bring together ideas, exchange information and enhance the personal network for a more sustainable, efficient and social mobility and industry.

The first confirmed keynote speaker is the famous EPFL Professor and Astronaut Claude Nicollier.
