OREANDA-NEWS. Nissan today announced U.S. pricing for the 2017 Nissan NV Cargo van and 2017 Nissan NV Passenger van. Models equipped with the 4.0-liter V6 engine are available now at 440 Nissan Commercial Vehicle dealers nationwide, while V8-equipped models will go on sale in February 2017. The NV Cargo starting price of $27,730 is the lowest in the full-size van segment.

For 2017, a new 5.6-liter Endurance® V8 gasoline engine, assembled in Decherd, Tennessee, replaces the previous 317-horsepower V8, while a new heavy-duty 7-speed automatic transmission replaces the previous 5-speed automatic. For use in the NV Cargo and NV Passenger, the Endurance® V8 is rated at 375 horsepower and 387 lb-ft of torque – providing best-in-class horsepower and torque. Despite the increase in horsepower, the new powertrain also delivers an estimated eight percent increase in fuel economy versus the previous powertrain.

Also available with NV 1500 and NV2500 models, as in previous years, is a fuel-efficient 4.0-liter V6 engine rated at 261 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque.

The NV Cargo is available as a High Roof model with rugged body-on-frame construction. In addition, both NV Cargo and NV Passenger were awarded VinCentric "Best Fleet Value in America" (2016).

And, all 2017 NV Cargo and NV Passenger models come with America's Best Commercial Van Warranty – featuring bumper-to-bumper coverage of 5 years/100,000 miles, whichever comes first.

2017 Nissan NV Cargo
The highly innovative Nissan NV Cargo is available in three models: NV1500, NV2500 HD and NV3500 HD, and in two roof configurations – Standard Roof and High Roof. Powering the rear-wheel drive Nissan NV Cargo is a choice of two powerful yet fuel-efficient engines – a 4.0-liter V6 and 5.6-liter V8.
