Pinnacle Bankshares Corporation (the “Company”) (OTCQX:PPBN), the one-bank holding company for First National Bank (the “Bank”), announced today that its Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of \\$0.10 per share on August 9, 2016, payable September 2, 2016 to shareholders of record as of August 19, 2016. 

The cash dividend is a \\$0.01 increase over the \\$0.09 per share paid to shareholders last quarter and marks the sixteenth consecutive quarter that a dividend has been declared.  Pinnacle previously released its second quarter 2016 earnings on July 26, 2016.

“We are pleased that continued improvement in Pinnacle’s financial performance has supported another increase in the quarterly cash dividend provided to our shareholders,” stated Aubrey H. Hall, III, President and Chief Executive Officer for both the Company and the Bank.  Mr. Hall further commented, “The Board continues to balance enhancing cash dividends and building capital through retained earnings to support growth plans across the Central Virginia market.”
