OREANDA-NEWS. August 18, 2016. At Salesforce, we love seeing startups grow into successful businesses. That’s why we have programs like Salesforce for Startups, where we provide more than 7,000 members in over 130 countries with knowledge and resources to grow into successful customer-focused companies and Salesforce Ventures, which has invested in more than 150 enterprise cloud startups since 2009. In addition, we’re officially launching the Salesforce Incubator, a new five-month program based in San Francisco that will help facilitate innovation and collaboration within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Our passion for innovation and startup success is also why we’re excited to announce that this year’s Dreamforce will feature the all new Dreampitch competition. Dreampitch will provide early stage startups building on the Salesforce App Cloud (Lightning, Force.com or Heroku) with a chance to win the opportunity to showcase their innovation onstage at the world’s largest software conference.

Startups of all types—from Product Hunt, an app built on Heroku that enables anyone to discover and share the latest tech products, to Gainsight, a company fully built on Force.com, that allows Salesforce users to easily integrate their NPS survey and analytics tool through the AppExchange Marketplace—have had great success building on the Salesforce App Cloud.

And now it’s your turn. As an early-stage startup, every opportunity to showcase your company to potential customers, partners and investors is invaluable. And the chance to pitch to legendary investors Mark Cuban and Chris Sacca is a great way to increase brand recognition and receive valuable feedback.

Three Dreampitch finalists will be flown to San Francisco to pitch Mark Cuban and Chris Sacca (as well as others to be announced) on the Dreamforce stage in front of a live audience, with the chance to receive up to a \\$150k investment from Salesforce Ventures.

Additionally, the three finalists will be granted VIP membership to Salesforce for Startups (worth up to \\$20k) and a booth within the Startup Valley in the Trailhead Zone to showcase their company to thousands of Dreamforce attendees for one full day.

One winner will have the opportunity to join the Salesforce Incubator for five months beginning in April 2017.

To qualify for Dreampitch, your startup must fit the following criteria:

  • At least a portion of your technology stack utilizes at least one Salesforce platform technology (Lightning, Force.com or Heroku)

  • Company must be based and authorized to work in the United States

  • No member of your current team has been employed by Salesforce, its affiliated companies, RECESS, or the affiliated companies of any judges within the past five (5) years
