OREANDA-NEWS. June 20, 2016. Facebook is one of the largest services that has yet to join T-Mobile's Binge On program, but that may soon change. The two companies are said to be in talks about adding Facebook to the carrier's unlimited streaming program, according to a report from Recode.

T-Mobile launched Binge On in 2015 as part of its Uncarrier campaign. The program lets customers stream an unlimited amount of video to their phones without dipping into their data allotment. Several heavy-hitters have already joined the program, including Netflix, YouTube, Hulu and ESPN.

The two companies are also exploring working together on Facebook's Free Basics program, Recode reported. Free Basics provides data-free access to Facebook and other websites where internet access is rudimentary, but the service has proved controversial in places like India.

T-Mobile and Facebook did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
