OREANDA-NEWS. McDonald’s is cooking Johnsonville Brats… again! Starting April 25, the popular Johnsonville Brat will be back in the 125 McDonald’s Restaurants throughout Southeast Wisconsin. The product has not been featured in Milwaukee-area McDonald’s restaurants since 2009.

To celebrate, Johnsonville and McDonald’s hosted a kick-off event at the Milwaukee-based Ronald McDonald House on April 18. Johnsonville grilled their famous brats for families of children who are receiving treatment at Milwaukee-area hospitals. The Ronald McDonald House operates their family meal program to ease the financial burden of families and help them have more time to focus on their children. In 2015, 523 meals were provided by 284 family meal groups.

McDonald’s and Johnsonville first partnered on the product in 1998, which generated rave customer reviews. Over the years, Johnsonville Brats were featured on McDonald’s menu boards in various markets across the country.

Johnsonville Brats will be on the menus until May 31.
