OREANDA-NEWS. A total of 2,145 applicants submitted their applications to study in Tallinn University of Technology (TUT) this year, the school will open its doors to 534 new foreign students.

The most popular fields of study among foreign students who applied for master’s programmes were industrial engineering and management, and e-governance and technologies; applicants of bachelor’s studies preferred integrated engineering. A lot of applications were also submitted for the master’s programme of cyber security.

This year, the largest number of applications from foreign students came from those in Finland and Georgia. The final number of foreign students who will be studying in the university will be determined in September.

Last year, 479 foreign students were accepted into TUT, this year, both the number of applications submitted and the number of places for foreign students has increased.
