OREANDA-NEWS  The largest Chinese e-Commerce platform withdrew from the sale of goods of the world famous Italian fashion brand Dolce&Gabbana after the scandal.

A day earlier, the company was at the center of a scandal in China due to commercials of a fashion show in Shanghai and comments allegedly on behalf of one of the founders of the brand, the company was accused of racism and sexism, and the show had to be canceled. The scandal erupted when the official accounts of the brand in social networks were published videos in which the Chinese model eats chopsticks Italian dishes-pizza, spaghetti and cannoli, and behind the scenes male voice gives her advice on how best to cope with the challenge, "playing on double senses." The videos caused a strong criticism of the brand.

At the moment, the brand name search on the Taobao, Tmall and JD platforms displays the message "nothing found".

Meanwhile, on the rupture of relations announced by a number of famous Chinese figures of show business, which found racist video posted by the brand.

Among them, the Ambassador of Dolce & Gabbana in China-a famous singer and actor Wang Junkai. Many Chinese celebrities, as well as modeling agencies that were supposed to participate in the Grand show in Shanghai on November 21, refused to participate.

After the appearance of the videos, the situation was aggravated by comments to the video on Instagram with insults to China and the Chinese allegedly on behalf of the co-founder of the company Stefano Gabbana.

Later, the brand reported that Gabbana's account had been hacked, and apologized for the publication, and announced an investigation.

In January, designer Stefano Gabbana was sharply criticized by users of social networks after he published in his Instagram photo of the wife of the President-elect of the United States Melanie Trump in a cocktail dress Dolce & Gabbana.
