OREANDA-NEWSThe court of the Kobrin district of Belarus sentenced the organizer of supplies of sanction European products to Russia to five years in prison. This is reported on the website of the State Control Committee of the Republic. According to the committee, the Kobrin enterprise "ElitOvoschTorg-trance" was engaged in the re-export of sanctions products. It officially imported Polish apples and Turkish tomatoes to Belarus, and then delivered them to one of the Moscow markets. The documents indicated that these products were sold on the Belarusian markets.

From 2016 to the first quarter of 2018, the company redirected over 1 thousand heavy 20-ton cars to Russia. In 2018, a criminal case was initiated on tax evasion on a large scale. The company has accrued taxes in the amount of more than 2.5 million rubles directors of the enterprise, a citizen of Russia, were sentenced to five years in a penal colony. The court also decided to confiscate the property of the Russians and forbade him to hold administrative positions for five years.

The committee said that a Mercedes car, six trucks and four semi-trailers were confiscated from a convicted person. It's noted that the budget has already received more than 1.5 million rubles unpaid taxes. In early April, Belarus ceased to certify fruits and vegetables from third countries, which is re-exported to Russia. On April 12, Russian Agricultural Supervision introduced a temporary ban on the import of apples and pears from the republic. The ministry suspected that under the guise of Belarusian in the country imported sanctions products.

Earlier, the Belarusian secret services found out that a group of Russian and Ukrainian citizens were engaged in importing sanctions products to Russia during 2017–2018. The sanction was bought in Poland and Ukraine, imported into the territory of Belarus, then into Russia.
