OREANDA-NEWS. In Russia, the demand for representatives of working specialties will grow due to the establishment of domestic production and an increase in the volume of equipment repairs. Izvestia writes about it.

Demand for blue-collar specialists in Russia may grow as the country gradually establishes its own production and mastering of new equipment. At the same time, the labor market is already experiencing a shortage of such personnel, the Bank of Russia noted in the report.

The experts agreed that the labor market now really needs "blue collars". In addition, people entering the market are asking for a salary increase of at least 30%. However, the real increase in wages may not exceed 7-10% due to the economic situation.

Analysts considered that in the context of a changing labor market, people need to acquire applied skills that will improve their qualifications, or move to another area where there is now a shortage of specialists. At the same time, trends in demand for specialists can be multidirectional.

Earlier Friday, the Russian Central Bank's Monetary Policy Report said Russia could face rising unemployment as the country's new economy emerges. It is noted that the withdrawal of large foreign companies from the Russian market may lead to the fact that some of the former employees of these organizations will lose their jobs, and the number of vacancies in these categories will decrease.
