OREANDA-NEWS. High-ranking Russian officials should not have real estate in the United States or the Czech Republic, which the Cabinet of Ministers has included in the list of unfriendly states, and if there is one, then they should leave their posts, said the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.

Peskov told reporters, answering the question whether the approval of the list of states unfriendly to the Russian Federation will affect the high-ranking Russian officials who have real estate abroad: "High-ranking officials are prohibited from owning any real estate abroad and owning real estate in the Czech Republic or America, so it is easy to be like that If they have real estate there, then they are not high-ranking officials. If they are high-ranking officials and have real estate there, then they should stop being high-ranking officials, and this is the concern of our respective departments and divisions of the presidential administration. "

The Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation previously approved the list of unfriendly states, the list includes two countries: the United States and the Czech Republic. Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in an interview with RIA Novosti that Moscow would not recklessly write any country on the list of unfriendly, the decision would be preceded by a deep analysis, and the list could be revised over time. According to the minister, this will not be "dead" paper: the list "will, of course, be revised" as relations with a particular state develop.
