OREANDA-NEWS. A helicopter of the Center for Emergency Medical Aid and the Moscow Aviation Center takes over on duty at the Z.A. Children's Hospital  Bashlyaeva in Tushino on September 1.

 “The arrival time of a medical helicopter to any point in Moscow is on average seven to 10 minutes, and to“ new ”Moscow - 15-20 minutes.  Duty at the children's hospital in Tushino will help to increase the speed of emergency care for our little patients.  This is the first children's hospital where a helicopter will be on duty.  Among adult hospitals, round-the-clock duty of aviation medical teams is organized at the city clinical hospital named after  S. Yudin in the south of the capital and in the hospital number 15 named.  O. Filatova in the east of Moscow, ”said Sergei Gumeniuk, deputy director of the Center for Emergency Medical Aid, chief specialist in Moscow for first aid.

 The head of the capital's Health Department, Alexei Khripun, said earlier that this clinic is one of the largest in the city, where doctors can simultaneously receive about a thousand small patients.  Moreover, after a major overhaul, "the surgical capabilities of the clinic will increase by 20%," said the head of the department.  According to him, this year over 200 children can be operated on in the renewed neurosurgical department.
