OREANDA-NEWS. The Italian authorities have promised to consider the possibility of including those vaccinated with the Russian Sputnik V vaccine into the local system of COVID certificates, known as green pass, said Russian Ambassador to Italy Sergei Razov.

"Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who was here a month ago, in a conversation with the Italian Prime Minister asked him to carefully consider this topic, since this is a real informal restriction in the work of our diplomats ... and respectable people who were vaccinated with one of the most effective vaccines ", - said the ambassador at a meeting with the heads of associations of Russian compatriots in Italy.

In his speech, Razov noted that in the issue of recognition of Sputnik V, "a solution can be found for tourists" by including PCR tests or antibody indicators.

"Draghi said -" I promise, we will consider, "but in what sense and how soon - we are waiting," summed up the head of the Russian diplomatic mission.

On September 25, another demonstration against the systems of electronic COVID certificates is taking place in Rome on the San Giovanni in Laterano square, the RIA Novosti correspondent reports.

One of the activists speaking compared the situation with the green pass with the times of the fascist regime, against which "12 scientists were opposed." "This is not a battle between covidiots and knowwax. There are slaves, but there are free people, which side are you on?" - said the speaker, urging like-minded people to collect signatures for holding a referendum to abolish the green pass.

Demonstrations of opponents of the electronic certificate system, which has been operating in Italy since the beginning of August, are held on Saturday in major Italian cities.
