OREANDA-NEWS The French cosmetics manufacturer L'Occitane International SA increased its net profit by 57.5% at the end of the 2022 financial year, which ended in March, to a record 241.9 million euros against 153.6 million euros a year earlier. This is stated in the company's report.

L'Occitane's annual revenue rose by 16.7% - to 1.81 billion euros from 1.55 billion euros. Excluding changes in exchange rates, the rise was 14.6%. Like-for-like sales increased by 8.3%.

n France, the revenue increased by 10.8% (up to 96 million euros), in Hong Kong - by 25.7% (up to 118.9 million euros), in China - by 24.4% (up to 328 million euros), in Taiwan - by 8.6% (up to 51.5 million euros), in the UK - by 27.9% (up to 197.5 million euros), in the USA - by 14.8% (up to 296.8 million euros), in Russia - by 22.8% (up to 62.6 million euros), in Brazil - by 40.1% (up to 48.3 million euros). Meanwhile, in Japan, revenues decreased by 4.3% and amounted to 206 million euros.

L'Occitane expects FY2023 revenue to exceed 2 billion euros, despite lockdowns in China and the company's exit from Russia.
