OREANDA-NEWS Luxury fashion brands showed revenue growth in 2018 in Russia. This was reported by RBC with reference to the reports of the Russian divisions of these companies.

For almost all luxury brands, last year's results were the best since at least 2014. Good growth in revenue (in absolute terms, year-on-year) was shown by Dior (+935 million rubles) and Tiffany (+852 million rubles). Bvlgari (+416 million rubles), Prada (+414 million rubles), Chanel (+291 million rubles) have more modest indicators. The revenue of the Russian "daughter" Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy over the past year rose to a record - from 7.027 billion to 9.36 billion rubles.

In 2018, sales of luxury fashion brands in Russia grew by 5%, to 248 billion rubles, follows from the data of the Fashion Consulting Group (FCG). According to Deloitte, Moscow accounts for 70% of the consumption of luxury goods. And the world market for personal luxury goods last year reached a record € 260 billion, Bain & Company reported earlier. According to her analysts, among luxury goods, sales of shoes and jewelry increased the most (7% in each segment), followed by bags and cosmetics. Watch sales remained unchanged, while clothing sales fell.
