OREANDA-NEWS. About 50 PlayStation games have suddenly gone up in price in Russia. This is reported by the PsPrices portal in its VKontakte community.

Among the dozens of titles that have risen in price were both new and old games. So, the price of Persona 5 Royal has increased — from 3499 to 4279 rubles, Need For Speed — from 1199 to 1429 rubles, Mortal Shell from 1799 to 2149 rubles, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes - from 1199 to 1429 rubles.

Some titles have gone up by a thousand rubles or more. These include Tekken 7 - Ultimate Edition - from 5499 to 6779 rubles, Cities: Skylines - Mayor's Edition - from 5799 to 7129 rubles, Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris Deluxe Edition - from 6699 to 8209 rubles.

The creators of PsPrices could not explain the rise in the cost of games. Sony also did not comment on the price increase for titles.

Subscribers of the portal in social networks explained the situation with "an increase in prices for everything." "Well, what did you want? Development is getting more expensive," said user Sergey Solovyov. "The idea comes more and more often that it is necessary to go to the PC, with such and such prices for games," the author Dmitry Dudko summed up.

The last time the price increase for PS games was recorded in the summer. Then exclusives for the PS platform rose in price - Bloodborne, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and God of War.
