OREANDA-NEWS. In the first quarter of this year, 24% of Russians received a salary increase, TASS reports, citing the results of a survey by the Zarplata.ru service.

Basically, salaries were increased for working personnel, workers in industry, education, construction, banking, retail, sales, as well as doctors, marketers and PR specialists, IT specialists.

“Almost half of the employees who were left without a salary increase (45%) decided to look for a new job with higher earnings. Another third of workers (31%) plan to talk with management about the prospects and opportunities for salary growth, and 18% have resigned themselves and will not do anything, ”the study says.

In total, 25% of respondents are satisfied with the current salary level. 56% do not expect any increase this year.

The survey was conducted among 1,830 Russian residents aged 18 to 55.

Earlier it was reported that almost 70% of Russian companies have reduced personnel costs.
