OREANDA-NEWS Vice president of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Sergey Krasilnikov said that some Western companies are returning back to Russia through third countries after leaving the Russian market, RIA Novosti reports.

According to him, it's difficult to confirm or deny the information of Western media about one thousand firms that left Russia.

He noted that when a company leaves Russia, its subcontractors or "daughters" may remain in the country. In addition, some companies leave Russia, "but immediately return through friendly countries.

He added that only those companies, which had their own production facilities in Russia, left the country, which had serious consequences. For example, like IKEA or Renault, since tens of thousands of people were working at these enterprises.

In addition, Krasilnikov said that Adidas, which announced its withdrawal from Russia, did not have its own production in Russia. The 500 stores where their goods were sold didn't belong to them. He also admitted that the representatives of the company "are whispering to their partners now, where and how their sports products can be taken and brought into the country quietly.
