OREANDA-NEWS.  The Thai authorities will reduce the quarantine period for arriving foreigners who have been vaccinated against coronavirus from 14 days to a week. The new conditions will come into force in April, said the country's health minister Anutin Charnvirankul.

Reported by Nikkei Asia.

Such relief will affect tourists who received the vaccine within three months prior to entry, the minister added. In addition, they will need evidence that they are not sick with COVID-19.

In early March, the Malaysian medical regulator granted vaccine approval to AstraZeneca, pharmaceutical companies Sinovac and Pfizer.

Earlier, the President of the Russian Industry Community Andrei Ignatiev wrote about the situation with external tourism.
