OREANDA-NEWS. The largest importer of alcohol in Russia, Ladoga, will again reduce prices for its products. It is reported by "Prime", referring to the statement of the company.

The price adjustment will be 10%. This is already the second reduction in selling prices for alcohol over the past two weeks: at the end of March, Ladoga announced that it was reducing prices for its products by 17-19% due to the stabilization of the ruble.

As explained in the press service of the importer, the reduction will affect not only selling prices, but also the cost of products in the network of Ladoga Wine wineries.

At the same time, the company expressed the hope that Ladoga's partners among wholesalers and retail stores will also reduce prices for end customers.

Maxim Chernigovsky, CEO of the Alcohol Market Professionals Club, a non-profit organization, said last week that wine prices in Russia would rise amid economic sanctions. According to him, the cost of domestic wine will increase one and a half times, and foreign - twice compared to last year.
