OREANDA-NEWS  Russian tourists in Cuba were given access to excursions that take place outside the resort islands of Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo. This information is reported by the Association of Tour Operators.

Improving the epidemiological situation in the province of Jardines del Rey and other regions of the country has allowed the Cuban government to resume sightseeing outside the tourist area.

According to Juan Carlos Escalon, Cuban Embassy Tourism Adviser, jeep safaris in the cities of Florence and Cunagua, trips to the Topes de Collantes National Park (without entering Trinidad), as well as jeep safaris around the host islands have been resumed.

Havana is still closed for sightseeing trips.
