OREANDA-NEWS. Turkey will no longer require a negative result of a PCR test for coronavirus, a certificate of vaccination or an express test from children under 12 years old, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic reports. The new rules will come into force in September. Previously, entry without a PCR test was only possible for children under 6 years old.

Children under the age of 12 will be exempt from providing a certificate with a negative result of a PCR test for coronavirus, a certificate of vaccination or an antigen test when entering Turkey, the message says.

The new rules have already entered into force and will remain in effect until September 30. Then the authorities will decide on the subsequent extension or revision of the introduced requirements.

It is reported that for passengers over 12 years old, all the conditions and rules remain. As specified, persons who have completed a full course of vaccination against coronavirus at least 14 days before the trip or who have provided a certificate of an already suffered illness are exempt from these obligations.
