OREANDA-NEWS  Several Turkish brands of clothing and household goods intend to enter the Russian market. The companies are negotiating with shopping centers to open stores of the adL, Mudo, LTB, Twist and Ipekyol brands in Russia, the Izvestia newspaper reports, citing real estate and retail market participants.

According to the newspaper, domestic operators are interested in cooperation with new companies after the suspension of work in Russia of a number of major international players.

Dmitry Moskalenko, President of the Russian Council of Shopping Centers, confirmed to Izvestia that negotiations between Russian operators and Turkish companies are indeed underway.

Each of the companies plans to open more than 100 outlets in Moscow and the regions, and adL stores will be the first to open, Omur Surenkok, head of Surenkok Moscow, who promotes Turkish business in Russia, told the newspaper. This brand has already worked in Russia before. The first store may open in Moscow in the fall, the specific location has not yet been determined, added Surenkok.
