OREANDA-NEWS Prices on goods of Spanish group Inditex (brands Zara, Massimo Dutti and others) may increase in case of return to the Russian market, Izvestia wrote, citing the report of the consulting company CORE.XP.

The Spanish holding company may try to curb price hikes by means of austerity, it said. For example, the company may sacrifice some profits. But exactly what will happen to prices will be clear in the autumn, when more stores will open and sales of the new collection will begin.

Experts agree that the final prices of the products will depend on the terms of the retailer's return. We are talking about the fact that there may be difficulties with logistics or production of clothing due to the poor cotton harvest in India.

Earlier "Izvestia" with reference to sources in the retail real estate market reported that stores of Spanish group Inditex may partially open in Russia in July. However, later company's press service said that at the moment there are no plans to reopen Zara and Massimo Dutti stores in Russia.
