OREANDA-NEWS. The fire unexpectedly broke out on an auxiliary vessel of the Iranian naval forces in the waters off the southern part of the country, the fire could not be extinguished, and the ship sank as a result. This was reported by the Mehr agency with reference to the statements of the Navy.

According to the agency, the Khark vessel set sail for international waters a few days ago. The ship, which was used to assist the Navy and train recruits, was on fire on Tuesday. Fire broke out in one of the ship's systems.

After the start of the fire, all the cadets could leave the ship, after that they moved to the nearby port of Jask in southern Iran. After the start of the fire, specialists from various departments began to extinguish the fire on the ship, but their efforts were completely unsuccessful. Soon the ship sank, but no one was hurt or killed as a result of the incident.
