Aeroflot Airlines to Resume Flights to Turkey from May

OREANDA-NEWS. Aeroflot plans to resume regular flights to Antalya and Istanbul next month. This was reported on the official website of the carrier.
Flights will start operating to resort towns from May 6.
“Flights to these cities will be operated up to two times a day on wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft…,” Aeroflot said.
According to the airline, Russians can already buy tickets for flights from Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport.
It is expected to perform at least 4 flights to Turkey daily.
Earlier, the Federal Air Transport Agency allowed Aeroflot to serve Boeing and Airbus with Russian registration. Aeroflot has received permission from the Federal Air Transport Agency to perform maintenance on more than 1,100 components of foreign-made Boeing and Airbus aircraft registered in the Russian register, the press service of the airline reports.
Thus, Aeroflot Group in aggregate has the competencies and permits to perform maintenance and repair on the widest range of aircraft types operated by Russian air carriers among MRO organizations in the Russian Federation: Airbus A320Family, Airbus A320neo, Airbus A330, Airbus A350, Boeing 737CL/NG, Boeing 777-300, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 747-400, Boeing 747-400F, as well as domestic Superjet 100.
“The experience gained over the years, the quality control system for aircraft maintenance, the professionalism of the engineering and technical staff and the extensive material base allow Aeroflot to successfully and timely fulfill the tasks of ensuring flight safety and regularity, develop taking into account new realities and look confidently into the future,” says in the message of the press service of Aeroflot.
Aeroflot resumes regular flights to Male (Maldives) from May 13. Flights to the Maldives will be operated daily on Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft.
