Aeroflot Received the First Airbus A350

OREANDA-NEWS. Aeroflot Airlines received and introduced the first Airbus A350 aircraft today, a Russian media correspondent reports from the ceremony. Aeroflot became the first Russian airline in whose fleet the A350 appeared.
As noted in the presentation of the aircraft, the A350 is planned to be used on American routes: to Washington, Miami, Los Angeles, Havana. The possibility of its use on flights from Moscow to Delhi, Singapore, Denpasar, Guangzhou, Beijing, Osaka is also being considered. Aeroflot’s general director Vitaly Savelyev noted at the ceremony that at first the plane would be "rolled out" on a flight from Moscow to St. Petersburg, its first regular flight will take place tomorrow.
The A350 aircraft is positioned by the manufacturer as the quietest: in comparison with previous generations of aircraft, noise from the sound track is 40% less. There is also a 25% reduction in CO2 emissions. The aircraft is equipped with a Rolls-Royce engine. The cruising speed reaches 910 km/h, the maximum flight altitude is 13.1 thousand meters, the flight range is 12.4 thousand km, the fuselage diameter is 6 m.
