OREANDA-NEWS. Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Yury Borisov stated on the air of the Russia 24 television channel that this year, the country did not make almost half of the announced space launches.

“A little more than 50 % launch programs have been implemented. The reasons are different, one of them is shortcomings in the organization of work,” the politician said.

Borisov noted earlier today that the planned upgrade of the military satellite group planned for this year turned out to be disrupted.

At the beginning of the year, the head of Roscosmos State Corporation for Space Activities, Dmitry Rogozin, told President Vladimir Putin about a plan for 45 launches. Today, Roscosmos announced that 25 launches had been accomplished.
