OREANDA-NEWSLaw enforcement authorities in the US city of Seattle, Washington, detained a suspect after a man drove into a crowd of people at 11th Avenue and Pine Street. This was reported on Twitter by the local police.

Earlier, Seattle firefighters received a call that a man at the intersection of these streets received a gunshot wound. According to the Seattle Times, a man drove a car into a group of protesters in Seattle (actions in the United States began after the death of African American George Floyd after being detained by police). On the move, he shot a man, then stopped and got out of the car. After that he was detained.

Police indicate a gun was found at the detainee. The fire department took the victim to the hospital. Law enforcement agencies examined the area, but did not find other wounded.
