OREANDA-NEWS. Princess Cruises has announced that acclaimed Australian actor director Jeremy Sims will play a leading role during its second Travelling Film Festival at Sea.

Jeremy will join a spectacular line-up of world class cinema and interactive events planned for the cruise – a six-night roundtrip voyage from Sydney to Tasmania on Dawn Princess.

Guests will be able to enjoy a special viewing of Jeremy's acclaimed film Last Cab to Darwin, starring Michael Caton of The Castle fame, followed by an exclusive Q&A session with the director.

Announcing the guest speaker, Princess also confirmed the cruise program would include Neil Armfield's multi-award winning film Holding the Man, Gillian Armstrong's Women He's Undressed, international sensation Phoenixstarring Nina Hoss, Simon Stone's all-star drama The Daughter, Bill Condon's Mr Holmes starring Sir Ian McKellen, delightful family comedy The Crow's Egg, and Iris from legendary documentary filmmaker Albert Maysles about flamboyant fashion icon Iris Apfel.

Created in a unique partnership between Princess Cruises and The Sydney Film Festival, the Travelling Film Festival at Sea will depart Sydney on November 1, 2016 and will include calls to historic Port Arthur and the vibrant city of Hobart.
