OREANDA-NEWSThe meeting of representatives of the leadership of the leading companies in the aviation industry within the largest Asian air show Singapore Airshow 2020 was canceled due to the spread of the 2019-nCoV virus. This was reported in a press release distributed on Tuesday.

At the same time, the organizers of the air show said that the event will take place, as previously planned, from February 11 to 16, 2020, however, in connection with the spread of pneumonia caused by coronavirus, additional precautions will be taken to ensure the safety of all participants. As expected, over 55 thousand people from 150 countries and territories will take part in the Singapore Airshow 2020, at least 65 of the hundreds of the largest defense and aerospace corporations in the world will be represented at the exhibition.

During the Singapore Airshow 2020, several forums are planned, including on innovative developments in the aerospace field. By tradition, demonstration flights of aerobatic teams from different countries will be held on each day of the exhibition.

So, in 2018, aerobatics were performed by pilots from the Air Force of Indonesia, Malaysia, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, the USA, and also Thailand.
