OREANDA-NEWS. Designers working on an electric car project for people with disabilities promise to present a production model as early as 2022.

 The main difference from the new "green" machines will be a neurocontroller, which will allow people with disabilities to manage all vehicle systems through language.

 “We are developing a special suit for the driver with disabilities, which with the help of various sensors will take into account not only brain activity and eye movements, but also the actions of legs, hands and even the tongue - a special joystick can be developed for it. Sensors on the head will take into account changes in characteristics  electrical activity of the brain ... ", - said Augustus Lee, Deputy Vice-Rector for Research of NNSU named after NI Lobachevsky.
