This was reported by the California television channel KTLA 5. According to him, the Boeing 737-700 was heading to Manila. Shortly after takeoff, malfunctions were detected in the operation of one of the engines, then it ignited.

A month earlier, on Friday, October 18, an incident involving the Airbus A380, the largest serial passenger airliner in the world, occurred at an airport in Incheon, South Korea. One of four engines caught fire on an Asiana Airlines aircraft preparing for flight OZ202 to Los Angeles.

Emergency services of the airport quickly began to extinguish. It is known that as a result of an emergency, the aircraft did not receive critical damage. None of the people were hurt. According to local media, a fire occurred during testing of the power unit after maintenance. The reasons for the incident will be sorted out by members of a special commission.
