On the morning of May 28, a man fell on the rails at the “Oktyabrskaya” metro station. Traffic of trains was stopped for 10 minutes, passengers were asked to leave the subway.

According to eyewitnesses, the movement of trains at 10 am was stopped not only at the "Oktyabrskaya", but also at other stations of the Leninskaya line. Passengers were not allowed to enter the Karl Marx Square metro station, the train heading towards the center was stopped at the Rechnoy Vokzal, and all passengers on “Oktyabrskaya” were asked to leave the station by speaker phone. In total, traffic of trains was stopped for 10 minutes in both directions.

As told in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Novosibirsk region, at 10:02 a man fell on the way at the “Oktyabrskaya” metro station. The train driver had a chance to apply emergency braking and the tragedy was avoided. The man who caused a commotion in the subway is alive and well, he was taken to the platform and handed over to emergency services.
