OREANDA-NEWS Moscow is ready to provide the necessary humanitarian passage to unblock the ports of Ukraine and take ships with grain out of there. This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Andrey Rudenko, Interfax reports.

According to him, the Russian side is always ready for dialogue in order to peacefully resolve all problems.

Thus, the diplomat commented on the statement of the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, that Russia allegedly uses the food issue as a weapon, and called on Moscow to dialogue on the export of grain from Ukraine.

Rudenko stressed that Russia has repeatedly spoken out on this issue. Namely, the Russian Federation demands the lifting of the sanctions imposed against it and the demining by the Ukrainian authorities of all ports in which ships with food are stuck.

Earlier it was reported that the Russian Ministry of Defense on May 25 opens a humanitarian corridor for the withdrawal of foreign ships from the port of Mariupol.

On the eve of the Times newspaper reported that British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss supported the idea of ​​creating a coalition of countries that will unblock the supply of Ukrainian grain. According to a newspaper source, Truss agrees with the idea of ​​sending warships to escort ships from the port of Odessa.
