OREANDA-NEWS  Renault Russia has announced the recall of 3622 Renault Sandero, Logan and Dokker cars, sold from November 2017 to the present time. The reason for the recall is the possibility of incorrect operation of the driver's airbag in the event of a frontal impact, the press service of Rosstandart.

Authorized representatives of the manufacturer "Renault Russia" will inform the owners of Renault Sandero, Logan and Dokker cars falling under the review by sending letters and/or by phone about the need to provide the vehicle to the nearest dealership for repair work. The document with VIN-codes posted on the website of Rosstandart.

 The cars will be replaced with a driver's airbag. All repairs will be carried out free of charge for the owners. As previously reported by "AUTOSTAT", in December last year, Russian Renault dealers began selling a new cross-sedan Logan Stepway and updated Sandero Stepway, including a new series of Stepway City. With the advent of the City series Stepway Stepway Logan model and Sandero Stepway for the first time received an automatic continuously variable transmission CVT X-Tronic in combination with the motor of 1,6 l (113 HP). In addition, Renault Russia introduced the van Dokker Stepway, which will be on sale in the first half of 2019.

In September 2018 a joint venture of Rostec and Renault-Nissan Alliance Rostec Auto B. V. intends to increase its stake in "AVTOVAZ" up to 100% as a result of the offer and compulsory redemption of shares.
