OREANDA-NEWS Head of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov said that more than a thousand aircraft are planned to supply Russian airlines for the needs of civil aviation until 2030. He made the statement on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, TASS reports.

He said that the aviation industry enterprises have confirmed the possibility of supplying more than a thousand airplanes for the needs of civil aviation till 2030, with the simultaneous replacement of foreign components by Russian ones and modernization of productions where it is necessary.

According to him it is a question of production of 270 aircraft MC-21, SSJ New (142 units), Il-114-300 (70 units) and Tu-214 (70 units), Il-96-300 (12 units). Manturov also indicated that it is planned to supply more than 760 helicopters until the same date.

Earlier Sergey Chemezov, the General Director of the Rostec State Corporation, declared that the Russian aircraft industry plans to supply the market with more than 110 different aircraft by 2025 and over 500 aircraft by 2030.
