OREANDA-NEWS. A source of Interfax news agency told journalists that Russian authorities are examining the possibility of resuming flights with several countries in August and September.

“Prospects for the resumption of flights with South Korea and Hungary… are being discussed. The Russian side is ready for negotiations, but there has not been an official unambiguous positive or negative response from these countries about their readiness to receive Russians,” the reporters’ interlocutor said.

It is known that the UAE notified of its readiness to open borders for Russian citizens. “This proposal will be considered. The decision will be made based on the epidemiological situation,” the source explained.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova announced that Russia will open flights to Great Britain, Turkey and Tanzania from August 1. The politician added that international flights will be operated in three airports: in Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don.
